What is the protection type?
The UCF Has two protection types; breach notification or general field protection
Breach Notification | General field Protection. |
An alert or warning must be sent to affected individuals or the appropriate authorities upon any unauthorized acquisition of computerized data that comprised the security, confidentiality, or integrity of personal information maintained by the person or business. | All other data. |
To identify if there is a Breach Notification, search the Authority Document for "breach" or "notification". If the terms don't exist, or the term breach isn't in the context of alerting interested parties about the breach, then the term doesn't fall under breach notification. If the context of the term is used in the context of alerting interested parties about the breach, then it is covered as such.
