Please select a UCF Category Type that fits the Originator.

You need to look, first, at the country of origin of the Authority Document (here’s a hint, if the language is Japanese, Japan might be the country of origin). Is the document part of US Code? Is the document from a US standards body (such as NIST), or is it part of an international group or organizations, such as ISO?

You’ll notice in the list that International has its own category, and then there are several sub categories underneath it. That’s because some international groups, such as ISO, cover many topics, and other international groups, such as the Payment Card Security folks cover a single topic.

If you don’t know which Category Type the Authority Document falls into, go to local.google.com and type in the country of origin – it’ll show you on the map where it is and you’ll be able to figure it out from there.
