Set the Capitalization and Pluralization Conventions

Note: Asset pluralization and capitalization depends upon what level in the Asset hierarchy, the Asset is in the hierarchy.

ASSET LEVEL	RULES
Segment	1. Use acronyms only if they are not the first word and only if they are enclosed in parentheses
	2. Capitalize all words NOT in the always lower list
	3. Lower case all words in the always lower list
	4. Pluralize the term according to the pluralization rules.
	5. Use an oxford comma to delineate “and” / ”or” list items.
Category, Class, Type	1. Use acronyms only if they are not the first word and only if they are enclosed in parentheses
	2. Capitalize the first word
	3. Capitalize all proper nouns
	4. Lower case all words in the always lower list
	5. Pluralize the term according to the pluralization rules.
	6. Use an oxford comma to delineate “and” & ”or” list items.
product or service and all levels below	1. Use acronyms only if they are not the first word and only if they are enclosed in parentheses
	2. Capitalize all words NOT in the always lower list
	3. Lower case all words in the always lower list
	4. Enter in singular form.
	5. Use an oxford comma to delineate “and” & ”or” list items.
