Relationship Types list
- Synonym — Terms that mean exactly or nearly the same thing as the focus term.
- Antonym — Terms that mean the opposite as the focus term.
- Linguistic Parent - Terms that are linguistically broader than the focus term, this includes origins of terms.
- Linguistic Child - Terms that are linguistically narrower than the focus term, this includes derivatives.
Inverse: Linguistic Parent - Category For - A term of which the focus term is a kind of.
- Type of - Terms that are kinds or examples of the focus term.
Inverse: Category For - Includes - Terms the focus term is an element of.
- Part of - Terms whose definitions are an element of the focus term.

How to use the Hierarchy
Adding New Terms
- Find new terms to add by entering a term into the search box under Dictionary Lookup Terms.
- Select term from pop up list.
- The selected term's hierarchy will appear in under the search box.
- Click and drag your mouse from anywhere in the hierarchy to the desired term.
- Let go of your mouse.
- Select the desired relationship type from the drown-down menu in the pop-up.
- Click the "Done" button.
- The new relationship will appear in the top hierarchy under Master Term Relationships.
Editing and Deleting Existing Terms
- Click on the colored line of the desired term.
- To edit Select the new relationship type from the drown-down menu in the pop-up.
- Click the "Done" button.
- To delete, click "Delete" button.
Navigating Different relationships
- Double click on a term in either hierarchy to see its semantic relationships.
- The new hierarchy will appear under the search box under Dictionary Lookup Terms.
- Single click on a term to open up the Compliance Dictionary term entry in a new tab.
